A time to tell stories

When I retired some years ago, I commented to a friend that people tend to ignore you when they learn you’re no longer a part of the work force.

It came into sharp focus, I said, when people at a gathering I attended were busily exchanging business cards and I stood forlorn and empty-handed.
I exaggerate a bit, but it was largely true.

Not too much later my friend presented me with business cards which described me, among other things, as a scribe, a writer and a teller of stories.

In order to really do all those things, you need a place to collect your musings. This is that place. Join me here. Pull up a chair and have a cup of coffee.
